This Thursday from 6-7 PM our senior students will be presenting their Senior Projects in the south hallway of the school. Families and community members are welcome to come and check out the projects the seniors have been working on this semester.

NF is the overall 2A Boy's Cross Country State Champion with Corbin Johnston as the individual champion!!! Great job boys and coaches!
We had a great college application week at NF! Every senior completed "Apply Idaho" and submitted at least one application to a higher education institution in Idaho. They also applied for the Idaho Launch Grant (an awesome new program that funds training for high need jobs) and the Idaho Opportunity Scholarship. They finished the week with a pizza party and raffle drawing for some really cool prizes! Also, a huge thank you to Mrs. Litton who organized the activities and guided our students through the application process.
Last night our NFHS Husky football team had a huge win over Ririe 52-12! In the process they secured the 2A district 6 championship! Great job to all of the players and coaches, and thank you for representing our school and community in such a great way! Good luck at state!
What a day for our Husky cross country teams! Both the boy's and girl's
teams qualified for state, and the boys brought home the district championship! In the girls Yadira Patino placed 7th, and in the boys Michael Grant came in 8th, Bryce Jensen came in 5th, Axel Harshbarger came in 4th, Payton Linger came in 3rd, and Corbin Johnston was the individual boys champion. Great job to all of our athletes and coaches!
Eastern Idaho Public Health will be here Thursday, 10-19-2023, from 7:30 to 9:30 AM to administer flu shots for staff and students who request it. There is a form available in the attendance office for anyone interested. Thanks!
IHSAA ACADEMIC STATE CHAMPIONS: The Idaho High School Activities Association has released its list of academic state champions for the fall 2023 sports. The North Fremont Volleyball team is recognized as the 2A academic state champions. They had an average GPA of 3.956! CONGRATULATIONS! Keep up the hard work and good luck with the rest of your season.

HARVEST UPDATE (10-5-2023). All schools will be back in session for the whole district on Monday. Due to the weather, many farmers one both ends of the district are still trying to complete the harvest and many students are still working. Students who have missed or who will miss school due to harvest on either end of the district will still be counted as being absent and count against the 8 day limit each semester; however, the absences will be tracked by the schools. Similar to COVID related absences in the past, students who may exceed the 8 day limit due to harvest work will be able to work closely with the schools and teachers to make up any missed work and will have this taken into consideration by the administration when determining the need to make up time. A form to document harvest related absences can be picked up in the office. It will need to be filled out and then signed by the employer and the student's parents/guardians. If you have questions, please contact your school.
Remember, North Fremont High School/Middle School starts Spud Harvest this Monday, September 18th. There will be no classes from 9/18 to 9/29. Enjoy spud harvest!
This is a late post, but we wanted to give a huge thanks to the Ashton Rotary! They came last Wednesday morning and cooked breakfast for our entire student body. Thank you!
Tomorrow (Thursday 9/14) we have a special guest coming to the school to speak with the students. His name is John Bytheway and he comes highly recommended from neighboring schools. His presentation will be geared for our students grade 6-12. Because of this assembly, we will have an adjusted bell schedule that is attached to this post.
As part of our observance of U.S. Constitution Day, the Social Studies department will be giving out free copies of the Constitution and Declaration of Independence on Thursday. On Thursday, students can stop by Mrs. Knighton's, Mr. Wilson's, or Mr. Channell's rooms and receive their free copy!
Attention: Homecoming is next week (September 4-8)! Take a look at the poster for upcoming events. The biggest change will be that the parade time is moved to 1:30 PM on Friday, September 8th. Our student council has done an amazing job planning a fun filled week!
