Dear Ashton Community,
We invite local businesses to join us in two initiatives honoring our veterans and supporting our students:
Veterans Day Discounts: To show appreciation for our veterans, we’ll be posting a list of businesses offering Veterans Day discounts. If your business would like to participate, please email your details to claytonw@sd215.net by November 9th. This list will be shared on our school Facebook page on the evening of the 10th.
Spirit of Christmas Auction Donations: We are also collecting items for this year’s Spirit of Christmas Auction, with proceeds supporting the Honor Society’s "Buy a Book, Read a Book" program at Ashton Elementary. To donate an item or service, please email your business name, contact information, and phone number to claytonw@sd215.net. A student representative will be in touch to arrange the donation.
We are deeply grateful for last year’s auction donors, whose generosity provided essential items like space heaters, pants, and socks to local students in need. Your kindness made a tremendous impact, bringing warmth and support to the lives of young people in our community.
Thank you for helping us celebrate our veterans and foster literacy among our youth.
