Child Find Preschool Screening Ashton Elementary will be conducting a Preschool Child Find screening for 3 and 4 year old children suspected of having a disability and/or developmental delay related to autism, deafness, motor skills, learning, speech, language, cognition, visual or hearing impairment, and/or other disability which may be impacting your child’s typical development. The screening will be held between 9:00 AM and 12:00 PM on Tuesday, August 19th at Ashton Elementary.
Please call Megan Hill or Amber Miller at 208-652-7601 to schedule an appointment. Please note that if your child is already enrolled in our preschool program or appears to be functioning and/or developing at a typical rate, they do not need to be screened.

The Youth on the Fly program is about engaging local youth in recreation and science on our local river under the instruction of the scientists and avid anglers at the Henry’s Fork Foundation. Applicants must be 2025 fifth grade graduates of Ashton Elementary where they completed the Trout in the Classroom program in 2025. The event date is scheduled for August 15, 2025. Students must submit the application below and return it to the HFF office on or before August 13, 2025. Submit in-person or via mail. This day on the banks of the Warm River will give students the opportunity to learn how to cast, fly fish, participate in engaging games and activities, and enjoy a lunch in nature!

Attention Kandler Scholarship Recipients: The Kandler Scholarship Committee, in partnership with the North Fremont Education Foundation, will be issuing scholarship checks on July 31st. All scholarship application forms must be submitted to the high school as soon as possible if you wish to receive your check in August. If you miss this deadline, the next opportunity to apply will be in September. For any questions, please email Laura Allen at lauraa@sd215.net. All forms can be found on the school's website under the Kandler Scholarship section.

As we draw to the end of the school year, we wanted to share a reminder of the district attendance policy: Students are allowed 8 absences per semester. Beyond that, they must make up time at Homework Club. To work with different schedules, we offer homework club everyday before school, during lunch, and after school.

NF BPA is presenting a dinner theater on Saturday, April 12th at 5:30 PM to accompany North Fremont’s production of “Annie Play Will Do!”, which will be performed on both Friday April 11th and Saturday, April 12th. This is a hilarious comedy play that the NF Drama students are presenting and we look forward to the dinner on Saturday only which will make it a fun night for the whole family. Dinner includes either ham or turkey along with all the trimmings and dessert. Tickets are $23 each, include dinner and the play, and can be purchased at the high school or at the door. Family tickets can be purchased for $60 which include dinner for an immediate family and up to 5 tickets to the show! Tickets to the show only are $5. Dinner at 5:30, show at 7:00 PM. Come and see our drama students perform in this great production and support our BPA students by enjoying the dinner along with the play on Saturday, April 12th.

Due to weather concerns, the district will release school early today. Students will be officially released at 12:30. Lunch will be combine at 12 for all students. The buses will be at Ashton Elementary at 12:30 and the high school around 12:40. Please keep the bus lane open and stay safe.
