The Bauer Cup Scholarship Fine Arts program will be held Monday, April 29, 2024, at 7:00 p.m. in the South Fremont Junior High School auditorium. Students participating in the fine arts portion of the competition will have their works displayed in the foyer at the Junior High school at 6:30 p.m. The public is invited to come at that time and view their pieces.14 students will be competing for $15,000.00 in prize money. The event is free and all are welcome to attend.

NATIONAL CHILD ID PROGRAM. The schools have received a limited supply of National Child ID Program kits. These kits are free to parents/guardians. Each kit contains an inkless fingerprint kit, a medical info section, a DNS section, and an applicator to help collect personal information for your child. These documents are to be stored at home by the parents/guardians to be used in an emergency. If ever needed, you can provide this information to authorities to help reunite a missing child with your family. Contact your local school to request a kit.


The South Fremont Family Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) Chapter attended State Leadership Conference in Boise Idaho this week. Four members competed in various events and all placed Silver! Congratulations to Starr Hernandez-Torres, Kelton Dillard, Luna Smith and Lexi Overton. We want to wish a big congratulations to Lexi Overton, who placed first in her event and qualified for Nationals. Another big congratulations to Starr Hernandez-Torres, our Chapter President, who was elected as a State Officer for this next upcoming year.
It has been a great week attending various educational workshops, gaining leadership skills and learning life long lessons.
